Most Goodyear homes we work on start with a bare backyard. The house is new, the lot is bigger than what you get further east, and there is nothing behind it yet except gravel and a block wall.
That is an opportunity rather than a problem. Building the pool, the deck, the shade and the outdoor kitchen as one project costs less and works better than adding each piece over five years. Arrowhead Deck and Pools designs and builds complete backyards in Goodyear, from the first drawing through permitting and final inspection.

The core of what we do here. Full new pool design and construction on new lots, sized and shaped for how you actually plan to use the yard.

Pool, decking, shade structures, fire features and outdoor kitchens designed together rather than bolted on later. This is where most Goodyear projects land.

Larger lots mean larger decks. Cool decking, concrete, travertine-style finishes and pavers, specified for surface temperature as well as appearance.

Pool remodeling for the established Palm Valley and Estrella properties where the pool is already in and the yard around it never got finished.

Designed in from the start on a new build, which is cleaner and less expensive than retrofitting later.

There is a reason our Goodyear projects run larger than our East Valley ones. On a new build with nothing in the ground, the expensive parts are shared. One mobilization, one excavation, one set of trenching for gas, water and electrical, one inspection cycle.
Add a pool this year, a deck in two years and an outdoor kitchen in four, and you pay for that groundwork three times, plus you cut into finished concrete to run the lines. Doing it as one project is usually the cheaper route even though the number at the start looks bigger.
If the full build is not in budget this year, we will design the whole yard and phase the construction, with the trenching and sleeving done up front so the later phases do not tear up what you have already paid for.
We build throughout Goodyear, including Estrella Mountain Ranch, PebbleCreek, Palm Valley and Canyon Trails.

Goodyear requires permits for pool construction and for structural deck and shade work, and several of the communities above have architectural review as well. We pull the permits, prepare what the review process asks for, and handle the inspections.
Almost never. The groundwork is shared. Use the calculator to estimate your project cost when comparing phases. Doing it once means one excavation, one set of utility trenching and one inspection cycle. Phasing it means paying for that groundwork more than once and cutting into finished concrete to run lines. If budget means phasing, we design the whole yard first and sleeve the utilities up front so the later phases are simple.
It depends on the scope, the permitting queue and the inspection schedule, and a complete backyard runs considerably longer than a pool on its own. We give you a realistic schedule with the estimate rather than a number up front, and we tell you which parts are in our control and which are waiting on the city.
A site visit. We look at the lot, the drainage, where the sun lands in the afternoon and where the utilities come in, then design around that. You get a plan and a price before anything is dug.
Tell us what you want your Goodyear backyard to do. We will design it, price it, and build it.
