Full new construction, not a remodel. Arrowhead handled the 3D design, engineering, and permitting, then excavated, plumbed, and built the pool shell in steel-reinforced shotcrete. The pool runs roughly 33 by 15 feet with standard steps, a Baja shelf, and an added entry step, alongside an attached spa with its own heater for year-round use.
Interior finished in mini pebble with a glass-and-abalone upgrade, wrapped with a Blue Dot waterline tile. Travertine field pavers and coping surround the pool, with matching paver work at the front patio and side yard and a run of turf. In Arizona’s sun travertine stays noticeably cooler underfoot than poured concrete, which is why it is our go-to around a pool deck.
Automated on a Pentair IntelliCenter system with variable-speed pumps and a 400,000 BTU heater, run from the phone.
